Terms of Use

By accessing or using Eventu, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as any additional guidelines or policies referenced here. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Eventu is an event and wedding management platform that allows hosts to create events and ceremonies, build and organize guest lists, send digital invitations, collect RSVPs and guest preferences, and track attendance through a dashboard. Guests can view event details and respond to invitations, with or without creating their own account. Eventu is currently offered free of charge; if paid features are introduced in the future, updated Terms describing those features will apply before they launch, and you will be notified in advance.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an Eventu account. If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you must be at least 16 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, in line with GDPR and UK GDPR requirements. By creating an account, you represent that you meet the applicable age requirement for your location.

To use most features of Eventu, you must register an account using a valid mobile number and, where applicable, an email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us promptly at ridiscovery.official@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from your failure to safeguard your account credentials.

If you use Eventu to create an event, you act as a "host," and you take on specific responsibilities in that role. You are responsible for the accuracy of the event and ceremony details you publish. When you add guests to a guest list, whether manually or through contact sync, you confirm that you have the right to share that person's name and contact details with us for the purpose of managing their invitation and RSVP, and that doing so does not violate any agreement or law applicable to you. You are responsible for how you use guest RSVP data, including meal preferences and answers to custom questions, and agree to use this information only for planning the event to which it relates. RiDiscovery is not responsible for disputes between a host and their guests, including disputes over invitations sent, event changes, or guest data accuracy.

If you are invited to an event, you may respond to that invitation either by creating an Eventu account or, where supported, without registering. Information you submit in response to an invitation, including your RSVP status and any preferences or answers to host questions, is shared with the relevant event's host, and is used by us as described in our Privacy Policy.

"User Content" means any information, images, templates, or other material you submit to Eventu, including event templates, profile photos, and guest list information. You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant RiDiscovery a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service, such as displaying your event to invited guests or generating your RSVP dashboard. This license ends when you delete the relevant content or your account, except where a copy is retained as permitted under our Privacy Policy.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and confirm that it does not infringe any third party's rights and does not violate applicable law.

Eventu, including its name, logo, design, and underlying software, is the property of RiDiscovery Pvt. Ltd. and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use RiDiscovery's trademarks, branding, or proprietary technology, except as necessary to use the Service as intended.

Eventu relies on third-party service providers to operate, including AWS for hosting, MongoDB Atlas for our database, Firebase Authentication and MSG91 for login verification, and Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications, as described further in our Privacy Policy. Your use of the Service may be subject to the acceptable use policies of these providers where relevant, though your primary agreement remains with RiDiscovery.

You may stop using Eventu at any time and may delete your account through the in-app Settings menu. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service or a specific feature, with notice where reasonably practicable. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately, though certain provisions of these Terms, including Sections 7, 9, 13, 14, and 15, will continue to apply.

Eventu is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any guest will respond to an invitation, and we are not responsible for the outcome of any event planned using Eventu.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RiDiscovery Pvt. Ltd. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of guests' attendance, or event-related losses, arising out of your use of the Service. Because Eventu is currently provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the amount, if any, you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold RiDiscovery Pvt. Ltd. harmless from any claim, loss, or damage, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any right of a third party, including a guest whose information you added to the Service without a proper basis to do so.

If you access Eventu through the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply, as required by Apple:

This agreement is between you and RiDiscovery Pvt. Ltd. only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content. The license granted to you for the app is limited to a non-transferable license to use the app on an Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's Usage Rules. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services for the app. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any, for the app; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app. RiDiscovery, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims arising under consumer protection law. Apple is not responsible for investigating, defending, settling, or discharging any claim that the app or your possession or use of it infringes a third party's intellectual property rights. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

If you access Eventu through Google Play, your use is also subject to Google Play's applicable terms of service. RiDiscovery, not Google, is responsible for the Service and its content, and any support or warranty inquiries should be directed to us using the contact details in Section 19.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Surat, Gujarat, India, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Service or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision, and we will notify you of material changes through an in-app notice or banner before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RiDiscovery regarding the Service. Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to do so later. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign our rights in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, as described in our Privacy Policy.
